Jane Kopelman

Jane Kopelman is a trainer and behavior consultant in New York City. Jane was a behavior counselor at the ASPCA in NYC. In that capacity she was responsible for temperament evaluations of shelter dogs, volunteer training, teaching obedience classes and counseling members of the general public through the behavior helpline.

Jane has been a certified Pet Partners evaluator for the Delta Society, and with her own therapy dogs has taught many humane education classes and run numerous bite prevention programs.

At her training center, ALL ABOUT DOGS, in NYC, she offers obedience classes for the general public, and hosts many professional behavior seminars. Jane was a featured guest on Fox TV's "Pet News" and speaks at national humane organization conferences on training and behavior. For the last two years she has devoted considerable time to TRAINING WHEELS™, a shelter outreach program designed to keep pets and their families together through early intervention and education.

Jane lives with her three adopted dogs and one very tolerant adopted cat.
